Children express their visual creativity on anything and everything. We call this ‘personal art’. Colouring is not only fun and exciting, it is also educational. It stimulates the fine motor skills and concentration. Parents buy Bruynzeel products for their children because it is the responsible thing to do. Educationally and also in terms of quality/safety. Moreover, Bruynzeel products stimulate creativity and the imagination. We involve parents and children in our product development.
Functional young
This segment covers products for children who are starting to write. The first real pencil or the first real pen is important. It must be pleasant to use and easy to work with. Products in this segment were therefore specially developed for this group. Ergonomics are essential here. Nowadays, the Look & Feel are increasingly important. Products are used mainly in primary schools, but naturally also at home and at nursery.
Clarity through segmentation
Within our organisation, we apply clear product and target group segmentation. On the basis of this segmentation, all our products are classified in a clear way. This segmentation helps us to present and develop the right products for the right target group at all times.
A distinction is made here between Inspiring and Functional products.
Inspiring
Characterised by expression in colour. Expression is the basis of creativity all over the world. This category includes products which stimulate the creativity of users, which lead to the creation of ‘personal art’. Colouring is the main factor, but drawing, decorating, (graphic) designing and ‘fun’ also belong to this group.
Functional
Stands for expression in ‘words’. They are products which are used for writing, marking, highlighting, erasing, etc. These products were developed to encourage written communication.
