Whenever I sharpen my pencils the point keeps breaking off. What should I do?
The core in our pencils is very well glued. If used carefully, this core should in fact not break. Make sure you use a good, sharp pencil sharpener! For colour pencils you need to use a different sharpener to that for graphite pencils, and a different one for thick pencils to that for Triple or thin pencils. Preferably use a bruynzeel-sakura electric pencil sharpener. Advice: sharpen your pencils regularly for best results. |

Removing felt tip ink from clothing
Have you made marks on your trousers, blouse or the sofa? No problem.
Read the tips below.
Read the packaging
Most ColorExpress® products are easily washable or erasable. Look on the back of the ColorExpress® product packaging for instructions on how to remove the stain. Lost the packaging?
Below are the most important tips for removing stains:
1.Use the eraser pen
If there is an eraser pen in the packaging, treat the stain with it first, and then wash the clothing as normal.

2.Soak first, then wash
Soak the clothing first in a pre-wash detergent, then wash according to the washing instructions. The hotter the water, the better the result. With some stains you may need to wash the clothing several times.

3.Stains on furnishings
Treat the stain with soapsuds and ox-gall soap. If this doesn´t work, use alcohol or benzine as a last resort. Check that you don´t spoil the fabric using such aggressive products by testing first on an inconspicuous area.
Attention: There may always be special fabrics from which a stain can never be entirely removed. |

What should I do if my felt tip pen has dried out?
Try always to replace the cap when not using the felt tip pen. In some cases you can get the ink in a dried-out felt tip pen to flow again by putting a very small drop of water on the point of the felt tip. Then stand the felt-tip pen on its head´ (with the cap on!) overnight. The next day you will usually be able to use the pen again for colouring. |

Symbols on the packaging
On some of the bruynzeel-sakura packaging you will see the pictogram not suitable for children under 3 years´.

The reasons for this warning may be: very small components that may get stuck in the throat of children up to 3 years and cause a danger of choking. In addition, it may mean that there are sharp or hazardous parts in the pack (e.g. pencil sharpeners) that should only be used under the supervision of parents or carers.

The CE sign on a product indicates that it complies with the statutory requirements and is completely safe for children |

Save the packaging
Always save the product packaging. If you have a complaint later, you will then know where to find the manufacturer or representative. |

The best colouring and drawing
The best place for children to colour, draw and get creative is at a large, strong table. They need to be able to sit at it easily and have plenty of space for all their activities. It is also more relaxing and encourages the children´s creativity, enabling them to produce the most wonderful creations. |
